According to Marchex Institute’s recent findings, men spend longer talking on their mobile phones than women. That’s interesting. It could be that mobile phone use is still primarily for business related phone calls. As the chart shows women make more calls of 2 minutes or less. Another reason for the stat is that women are more relational and tend to prefer face to face conversations.
What’s your theory?

It’s definitely no surprise that women make more frequent shorter calls. I don’t know if it’s because we prefer face to face or just that we have to make so many calls to schools, doctor’s office, dentist, etc. We are also driving kids around a lot and running errands so we cannot stay on the phone for very long.
That’s my theory
