Bible Screen is a simple application that creatively displays scripture texts with beautiful artwork. I have been using this app for several months and continue to enjoy it greatly.

The app “streams” Bible art directly to your screen. The app can be enjoyed for long periods of time, as verses are rarely repeated. Some of the graphics are tastefully animated, and occasionally a Bible trivia question will be displayed with four possible answers (after a nice second countdown the correct answer is given).

Bible Screen is a free service made available by Logos Bible Software. The artwork is copyrighted, however Logos does allow sharing of their Bible art under certain conditions. For example you may use the artwork “in church and classroom presentations if you visibly acknowledge as the source.” Full details are available on their website.

Because Bible Screen is available on several different platforms it is viewable on almost any “screen” that you own, including:

  • Computer – through the website.
  • Mobile – both Android and iOS apps are available in their respective stores.
  • TV – this can be accomplished with an HDMI cable to connect your TV to a computer or mobile divice. Alternatively a free Roku app available (if you happen to own a Roku).
  • Digital Picture Frame – if you have a digital picture frame a ZIP file can be download from the web and then uploaded to your frame.

WWW Opinion:

Bible Screen is a wonderful application.

What could be better for the child of God than to fill his or her heart with the Word of God? The Bible Screen’s beautiful art work, availability on numerous platforms, and encouraging scripture verses make this application a wonderful way to integrate scripture into your daily routine.
